If you’re having trouble getting your Pericat projector to display an image, it might be because the laptop’s external video port isn’t activated when you try to connect to it.
First, make sure your laptop is connected to the projector.
Then, press and hold the Fn key on your laptop, and press the corresponding function key that’s marked as LCD/CRT or monitor icon at the same time. For example, you could press the F7 key to switch between display options.
If the display still won’t show up, it could be because of the input resolution of the computer. To fix this, adjust the display resolution and refresh rate of your computer to fit within the range allowed by the projector. Make sure to also check the aspect ratio settings of the projector screen.
Note that sometimes the projected image might only show part of what’s on your computer screen. This could be because the computer’s output resolution is too high. You can try lowering the resolution before trying again. If none of these solutions work, it might be because the liquid crystal panel of the LCD projector has been damaged or the DMD chip in the projector is faulty, and you’ll need to send it in for professional repair.
