david N. Bader ： value for money
I bought this projector for my college student granddaughter. Sound and picture clarity are both very good. The colors are vivid and portability is a major feature. Her dorm has movie night at least once a week, with popcorn and all. This time I got the gift.

CiBest Outdoor Projector
The Cibest Projector is a solid home theater projector, and while it has a lot of issues, at $89 it appeals to most budget-conscious consumers, considering how misleading their marketing is. For $89.99, it’s a tough ask; it has a decent selection of inputs, picture quality is okay, and it’s a fraction of the price of decent low-end TVs.
The Cibest projector is a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to home theater projectors. While the image quality is decent for the price, the marketing of the product by Cibest is somewhat misleading. In reality, the projector has a very low native resolution of 800×400, not the advertised 1080p. It can only accept 1080p input and scales down to a maximum of 800×400, which Cibest only hints at in their marketing by stating that it’s “not recommended for PPT business presentations”. This is odd because only low-resolution projectors are typically not recommended for PowerPoint presentations.
The Cibest Mini Projector has a good selection of ports, including HDMI, VGA, and audio jacks. However, its maximum display size of 200 inches can be a frustrating experience due to the projector’s low resolution.
Cibest claims that their projectors have an incredible lamp life of 50,000 hours, which is much longer than the shelf life of even high-end DLP and laser projectors. However, given that they lied about the resolution of their projectors, this claim should be taken with some skepticism. Nevertheless, lamp life is not likely to be an issue, and Cibest’s claimed bulb life is quite impressive.
Cibest Projector Summary
Despite the misleading claims and inaccuracies in Cibest’s marketing and spec sheets, the Cibest projector is not a bad product overall. Its low price is a major selling point, and although it does make sacrifices to achieve that price (which Cibest tries to downplay), it is still a very affordable option that gets the job done.
If you want an economical projector, I strongly recommend you to choose the pericat S20 projector, which is a very good experience in terms of picture quality and sound quality. But if you’re looking to save money, you can’t go wrong with a Cibest product.
Does CiBest projector have sound?
The built-in speakers provide stunning sound effects. Also, you can connect your home theater system for a better sound via the 3.5mm audio output. PORTABLE DESIGN: CiBest mini projector is small in size (7.87 x 5.5)
How do I connect my speakers to my CiBest projector?
If utilising this connection simply plug your computer or player into the projectors HDMI port as usual then run a 3.5mm audio cable from the projectors audio port to the Input on your speaker/soundbar. This 3.5mm jack is normally stereo audio quality and good enough quality for most small speakers.
Will this function if I’m camping without WiFi?
Our projector has WiFi as well as HDMI and USB ports for connecting devices like PCs and other electronics. It is advised to download the video resources in advance so that you can use them without restriction if there is no network.
